Edgeworn with darkening to edges and scattered foxing. With bookplate from ‘William John Lee Esq.’ on front paste-down. From a pipe-smokers collection giving the book has a sweet tobacco scent.

This fine copy of Dickens' Little Dorrit' is a first impression of the first edition and meets all the first edition points such as the three line errata on pp. xiv and 'Rigaud' misprinted for 'Bland' on pp. 469-470 and pp.472-473. (as stated by WoodPaz Books Ltd.'s article 'Charles Dickens First Editions Collecting Guide.' from October 2023). It also contains 40 engraved plates by 'Phiz' including the eight 'dark plates'.
