Vence 11-12 Juillet-Août 1951. Scarce booklet (18 x 26 cm) documenting Henri Matisse’s work on the Chapel in Vence. Illustrated in b/w. 30 pp. Orig. stapled wraps. Rear wrap a bit worn at the staples and with a small closed tear at the bottom part of the spine. Else a clean copy of this fragile publication. Laid in is a vintage postcard depicting the chapel and a later Danish newspaper-article.
